Job Description
The Flag City Sluggers are seeking a qualified Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive medical care and injury prevention for our summer collegiate baseball team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our players.
Responsibilities:
Provide preventative care and injury prevention education to players.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat athletic injuries.
Develop and implement injury rehabilitation programs.
Administer first aid and emergency care as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Coordinate with team physicians and other healthcare providers.
Manage the athletic training room and equipment.
Educate players and staff on health and wellness topics.
Qualifications:
Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) certification required.
Current state licensure or certification (if applicable).
Experience working with athletes, preferably in a collegiate or professional setting.
Strong knowledge of athletic injuries and rehabilitation techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Position Overview: The Housing Coordinator will manage the housing arrangements for the players during the summer season. This includes communicating with host families, ensuring accommodations meet the team’s needs, and handling any housing-related issues that may arise.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate housing for all players, including finding host families and ensuring housing assignments are in place.
Serve as the primary point of contact for host families and players regarding housing concerns.
Communicate expectations to host families and ensure a positive living experience for players.
Troubleshoot any housing issues that arise during the season.
Maintain clear records of housing arrangements and address any conflicts promptly.

Position Overview: Fun Squad Members will serve as the team’s ambassadors during game days and events, engaging with fans, hosting activities, and helping to create a fun, energetic atmosphere. They will serve as MCs for in-game promotions, contests, and fan interactions, and will throw out t-shirts and prizes to keep the crowd excited.
Responsibilities:
Lead in-game promotions, contests, and interactive fan activities.
MC events and keep the crowd engaged with exciting announcements and energy.
Toss t-shirts and other giveaways to fans during breaks in the game.
Assist with crowd engagement and create a fun, family-friendly atmosphere at the ballpark.
Be visible and approachable to fans, ensuring everyone is having a great time.
