    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement player-specific training plans.

    • Oversee on-field coaching and instruction.

    • Assist with game preparation, including scouting and game planning.

    • Manage equipment and facilities.

    • Assist with team travel and logistics.

    • Promote a positive and supportive team culture.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience coaching baseball at the collegiate level.

    • Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals and strategies.

  • Job Description

    The Flag City Sluggers are seeking a qualified Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive medical care and injury prevention for our summer collegiate baseball team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our players.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide preventative care and injury prevention education to players.

    • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat athletic injuries.

    • Develop and implement injury rehabilitation programs.

    • Administer first aid and emergency care as needed.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

    • Coordinate with team physicians and other healthcare providers.

    • Manage the athletic training room and equipment.

    • Educate players and staff on health and wellness topics.

    Qualifications:

    • Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) certification required.

    • Current state licensure or certification (if applicable).

    • Experience working with athletes, preferably in a collegiate or professional setting.

    • Strong knowledge of athletic injuries and rehabilitation techniques.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Job Description

    The Flag City Sluggers are seeking a Student General Manager to join our dynamic team at Flag City Sluggers. This is an internship that will end in November 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall strategic leadership and management of the organization. With support from the board of directors and advisory board members. The Student General Manager will help with decision-making on team operations, assisting the coach with player recruitment, and creating the plan for the 2025 season and organizational goals. The GM will help Select, supervise, and manage student staff which will include Assistant General Manager, Director of social media and Director of Sales and Marketing.

    Responsibilities:

    Primary Role:

    • Create and execute a comprehensive plan for community engagement.

    Strategic Goals:

    • Prepare the organization for its inaugural season by creating a community engagement plan for 2024 which will include the process of creating and finalizing the following key objectives:

    • Logo

    • Website

    • Scoring Software - Pointstreak

    • Fundraising, Donations, MLB Grants and Advertising

    • Field Rental

    • Attending meetings with other teams/operators in November 2024 and assisting with finalizing the 2025 schedule.

    Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled or recently graduated from community college or university.


    Requirements:

    • Must be able to attend and professionally represent the organization at community and public events in and around Hancock County Ohio.


    Preferred Skills and Experiences:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong planning skills

    • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

    • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals

    • Past sports management and marketing experiences in school or internships is preferred.
