    The Flag City Sluggers are seeking a creative, organized, and energetic Director of Digital Media to lead our digital presence for the upcoming season. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital media strategy that enhances fan engagement, promotes the Sluggers brand, and drives ticket sales. The Director will oversee all aspects of our digital footprint, including the official team website, social media channels, photography, video content, press releases, and email newsletters.     Responsibilities:

    • Website Management

      • Maintain and regularly update the official website www.FlagCitySluggers.com

      • Ensure website content is engaging and optimized SEO

    • Social Media Management

      • Develop and implement a content calendar for all team social media platforms

      • Create and post compelling daily content, including game-day updates, player highlights, behind-the-scenes footage, and fan interaction campaigns.

      • Provide live in-game coverage, including score updates, key plays, and final results.

      • Monitor social media channels, respond to fan inquiries, and foster a positive online community.

      • Track and analyze social media metrics to measure growth and engagement, providing regular reports to the leadership.

    • Content Creation

      • Oversee a team of photographers and videographers to capture high-quality photos and videos during games, practices, and community events.

The ideal candidate is a proactive sales leader with a proven track record of building relationships, closing deals, and exceeding revenue targets. This role is crucial to the financial health of the team and requires a strategic mindset, exceptional sales acumen, and a passion for connecting businesses and fans with the excitement of Sluggers baseball.

    Responsibilities:

    • Corporate Sponsorships and Partnerships

      • Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate partnership strategy to meet and exceed annual revenue goals.

      • Identify, prospect, and secure new sponsors through cold calling, networking, and face-to-face meetings.

      • Create customized, high-value sponsorship packages that incorporate assets such as ballpark signage, digital media exposure, in-game promotions, and hospitality.

  • Director of Press Box Operations - Flag City Sluggers

    Job Description

    The Flag City Sluggers are seeking a Director of Press Box & Broadcast Operations to manage and lead our game-day production team. This individual will be the command center for the press box, ensuring a seamless, professional, and entertaining experience for fans in the stadium and those watching from home. The Director will oversee all press box staff, including the Public Address (PA) Announcer, Scoreboard Operator, Official Statistician, and the broadcasting team. This role also serves as the primary liaison for our broadcast partner, UFTV. The ideal candidate is a calm, decisive leader with a deep understanding of baseball, live event production, and broadcast operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Staff Management and Coordination

      • Recruit, train, and manage the entire press box staff for the season, including the PA Announcer, Scoreboard Operator, Statistician(s), and Camera Operators.

      • Create and distribute game-day schedules and role-specific responsibilities for all press box personnel.

      • Serve as the point-of-contact for all press box staff, providing clear direction and support before, during, and after games.

      • Work closely with other directors to ensure seamless connections between areas.

    • Game-Day Press Box Operations

      • Ensure all press box equipment (sound system, scoreboard console, computers, broadcasting gear) is fully functional and tested prior to each home game.

      • Direct the in-game presentation, cueing the PA Announcer for announcements, music, and sponsored content, and coordinating with the Scoreboard Operator for graphics and stats.

      • Maintain a professional and focused press box environment conducive to accurate work and high-quality production.

      • Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during the game in a quick and efficient manner.

    • Broadcast and Media Liaison

      • Serve as the primary liaison for our broadcast partner, UFTV, coordinating broadcast schedules, technical requirements, and access for their crew.

      • Oversee the team's play-by-play broadcaster and color commentator, providing them with necessary stats, rosters, and game notes.

      • Ensure the live video stream is running correctly and that all broadcast elements (graphics, replays, audio) meet team standards.

      • Accommodate and assist visiting media members and professional scouts in the press box.

    • Statistical Integrity

      • Supervise the official statistician to ensure the accurate scoring and recording of every game using the league's designated software (e.g., PrestoStats).

      • Verify final game stats and distribute official box scores to both teams, the league office, and media outlets in a timely manner post-game.
